Meine erste Berührung mit dem, was ich heute tue: Ich, damals noch Teenager, und die Band "Die Ärzte". Mit der Inszenierung ihres Liedes "Gabi" als Live-Musik-Video - ein voller Reinfall - war für mich klar: Produktion ist mein Weg. Ich wusste sofort, was alles schief gelaufen war und wie es in Zukunft nie wieder sein sollte.

Bereits während meines Filmstudiums habe ich mich mit meiner Firma Shorts Production selbständig gemacht. Ich produzierte nahezu 70 Musikvideos, unter anderem für Xavier Naidoo, Herbert Grönemeyer, Enigma, 3P und Michael Cretu. Mit der Entwicklung und Koproduktion des Kinofilms "alaska.de" (nominiert für den Deutschen Filmpreis) konnte ich zeigen, dass das "Shorts" bei mir nicht ausschließlich Programm ist.

Für mich ist nicht entscheidend, ob Werbung, Langfilm, Kurzfilm oder Dokumentation - Hauptsache ist, die Kamera läuft.  Eine Vision in die Tat umzusetzen, das habe ich gelernt, und das ist, was ich liebe. Deswegen suche ich neue Herausforderungen, neue Projekte und neue Teams.

Ich freue mich auf Menschen, die wissen, wovon ich rede und über Projekte, die es  Wert sind, dass sie gemeinsam durch uns entstehen.

English Version

My first contact with my profession: Me, a high-school-graduate and a German rockband  "Die Ärzte". As the Producer of a live-music-video-event, "Gabi" from a song by "Die Ärzte" a great disaster! it became absolutely clear to me what had gone wrong and how I could improve it in the future. I knew at that moment production would be my way.

During my studies at the University for Film and TV in Potsdam Babelsberg I already formed my own company "Shorts Production GmbH". I produced nearly 70 music videos, amongst others for Xavier Naidoo, Herbert Grönemeyer, Enigma, 3P and Michael Cretu. With the development and co-production of the feature length movie "alaska.de" (nominated for the Germany Movie Award) I could demonstrate that my range is more than "Shorts".

Commercials, feature length movies, shortfilms or documentaries --  the main point is the camera is rolling.  To serve a vision is what  I've learned, and what I love to do.  And that is why I'm looking for new challenges, new projects, a new teams.
